We are excited to bring you the 2020 Winners’ Case Studies – Interim Report
The last year was an unprecedented year for everyone, which brought about many challenges and new learning curves, especially for UK organisations. Despite this hardship, it provided a great opportunity for those organisations and individuals making a difference across the nation, through their conscious efforts to advance social mobility, to showcase the great work they had been doing.
While the 2020 UK Social Mobility Awards took a very different format from previous years, it continued to be a successful event and we saw the brilliant work being done across a range of industries and locations throughout the UK. With entries from organisations new to the social mobility cause, as well as many submissions from previous entrants – we recognised and celebrated all those who were working hard to champion and progress social mobility, at a time it was needed more than ever.
Our interim report on the 2020 Winners’ Case Studies gives us a greater insight into the winning organisations and individuals who are making a positive contribution to social mobility. Taking a closer look into who they are and the initiatives they have created or been involved with, this report aims to raise awareness and provide inspiration to others about what can be done for the advancement of social mobility, and how best to do it. We want to say thank you to everyone involved, helping us to shine a light on the fantastic work being done for the movement, and spotlight what more needs to be done.
